The goal of a true Ifa devotee is Ipo-Rere. To be in Ipo-rere means one is released from Aye’s influence and becomes one with Ori. Our love for Aye’s illusions is what pulls us into iku, Arun, Ejo, Ofo, and all manner of life’s burdens. So attaining ipo-rere means that we are no longer slaves to the effects of Aye’s illusions, such as fear, greed, jealousy, anger, and other negative emotions because they put us in a state of unrest, which is known as Ibi.
