Why is SEX a ritual unto ORÍ and why the Non-initiate cannot indulge?
IFÁ says, “Let Everything you do be a sacrifice unto ORÍ and not for the Self” ~Irete Irosun, also known as “Irete Alaseju” (218th chapter of ifa).
The Non-initiate is he who still lives in illusion, if such person get involved in sexual activity, it is to give pleasure to his senses, not to serve ORÍ. As a result of this, more materially conditioned souls will reincarnate through such person and the earth will become more polluted.
The initiate understands that all his activities are sacrifice unto ORÍ, therefore he will always strive to subdue his senses, so that he can be able to manifest the Will of ORÍ here on earth.
But the Non-initiate does not understand this, as far as he is concerned, all his activities are done in order to give his senses pleasure.
