In the course of Self Development, there are series of disciplines that will help you become aligned with your Orí, and one of them is: “THE DISCIPLINE OF SURRENDER”.
In OGBÈ ÌRETÈ(the 29th chapter of IFÁ), IFÁ says:OGBÈ! Surrender in order to experience peace!Yoruba translation:OGBÈ wá tẹ̀ kí ara kólè rọ̀ ọ!
To surrender in this context means, to migrate from IRỌ́ to ORÍ; to let go of your false self and express the true nature of Olodumare. Suffering is caused by the false nature (IRỌ́).
Till date, some don’t know the difference between the principles of ORÍ (divine self) and the principles of IRỌ́ (the false Self).I have created the below diagram to help you understand better what the principles of ORÍ are, and what the principles of IRỌ́ are. I believe this will help you to keep yourself in check so that your authentic nature can blossom. Remember Ifa says, if fire receives fuel, its authenticity will blossom~Ìdí méjì.
We are entering into another beautiful day, get yourself the right tools that will help your Spiritual development. Above is a diagram that illustrates the principles of ORÍ and the principles of IRỌ́.
