If you lack sense of direction, you will be forced to walk the path of others in order to reach your destination. But the truth is, walking another man’s path can not aid you in reaching your destination. In OGBÈ HUNLE(the 21st chapter of IFÁ), IFÁ says:
It is one’s path that one should tread,
Treading another’s man path will make you feel stressed
And your efforts will be in Vain ~Ogbè Owonrin.
Another verse in ÌKÁ ÒSÁ(181th chapter of IFÁ) says:
Many applied so much efforts treading the path of others unknowingly
And they never bothered to inquire from their ORÍ
Little did they know that it is one’s ORÍ that knows the best path where one’s efforts will yield good results
These were IFÁ’s messages for Òrúnmìlà
When all his efforts turned into vanity because he treaded a wrong path…
The above verses has made it clear that if we lack sense of direction all effort is vanity. And then we’ll begin to perceive life as a war zone, whereas it is not.
STRESS is usually the end product when you lack a sense of Direction.
QUESTION: How can you have a sense of Direction?
ANSWER: You need to have a close relationship with your ORÍ. Nobody can do this for you, only you can make this happen. Your guardian or teachers can only supply you with effective tools that will help boost or activate this process, but YOU are the only one that can truly strengthen the relationship between you and your ORÍ. And this can only happen when you have applied the tools you have been given.
The tools maybe: Series of self DISCIPLINES, IFÁ Divination, Rituals and so on.
Right application of these tools will help enhance your sense of direction.
