IFÁ SAYS: SOMETIMES THOSE WHO ARE IN ALIGNMENT WITH ORÍ SHALL FEED OFF THOSE WHO ARE NOT IN ALIGNMENT.

IFÁ SAYS: SOMETIMES THOSE WHO ARE IN ALIGNMENT WITH ORÍ SHALL FEED OFF THOSE WHO ARE NOT IN ALIGNMENT.
~ÌDÍ OGBÈ

NOTE: The above statement is not promoting evil exploitation or discord.

To be in alignment with ORÍ means that you are adhering to the instructions of ORÍ. Don’t forget, ORÍ is your source. When you are not in alignment, you make yourself vulnerable.

Let’s take a look at the story between Olofin Otajatoju and Òrúnmìlà in ìdíngbè. In this verse, Otajatoju consulted his ORÍ through IFÁ as regards doing business with his wife, and his ORÍ assured him success. IFÁ told him to offer Ẹbọ in order to make profits and also offer another Ẹbọ to prevent him from losing his eyes. IFÁ warned him to do away with a nosy habit, as this would make him lose his eyes.
Olofin Otajatoju made Ẹbọ for profit, he neglected the second Ẹbọ and IFÁ warnings.

NOTE: When you go for ifa divination, it means you are consulting your ORÍ through IFÁ.

Olofin Otajatoju started the business with his wife, it was beans business.
Otajatoju usually gave his wife beans to hawk for him, after she had done selling, she would deliver the complete money to him. But Otajatoju was curious about something, he wanted to know how much his wife usually sold the beans, he wanted to know if she made more money than she had been delivering.

So one day, out of curiosity, Olofin Otajatoju removed his eyes and hid them beneath the beans bowl, he did that because he thought he would use it to monitor his wife’s movements and sales. The next day, his wife carried the bowl filled with beans to the market to sell.

On the other hand, Ọ̀rúnmìlà was very poor, he consulted his ORÍ through IFÁ for a change of situation. IFÁ told him to offer Ẹbọ with beans and money to Èṣù. IFÁ told him to go buy raw beans from the market to use for the Ẹbọ, he was told not to complain about the price, he should pay the exact fee.
Òrúnmìlà went and borrowed few cash from his neighbor to use for his Ẹbọ.
When Òrúnmìlà got to the market, the first beans seller he met was the wife of Olofin Otajatoju, she was almost done selling. Òrúnmìlà requested for few portions of beans, she told him the price and Òrúnmìlà paid her the exact amount. But then she realized that, what was left in her bowl was the last portion of the beans and Òrúnmìlà had no plate or bag to put the beans, so she decided to allow Òrúnmìlà take the beans with the bowl, she told him she had extra bowl that can be used the next day.
When she got home, she told her husband that she sold everything, the husband said he knew. She asked how he got to know, he said he hid his eyes beneath the beans bowl, he asked of the bowl, but she told him that she allowed Òrúnmìlà to use the bowl because he bought the last portion and he had no space to put it. All this while, the wife didn’t look into the eyes of her husband because he turned his back. But when he heard that she gave out the bowl, he turned immediately.
Olofin Otajatoju shouted, Ha! What about my eyes?
Meanwhile when Òrúnmìlà got home, he saw the eyes of Olofin Otajatoju inside the beans, he didn’t know what to do with them. He removed the eyes from the beans and offered the beans as Ẹbọ to Èṣù. After he had done that, Èṣù told Òrúnmìlà to hide the eyes, he told him that the eyes were for Olofin Otajatoju and he would come ask for them, but Òrúnmìlà should collect good amount of cash from him before releasing them.
Few hours later, Olofin Otajatoju and his wife went to look for Òrúnmìlà in the market place, they searched and searched but they couldn’t find him. They asked of him from the market men and women, and some directed them to Òrúnmìlà’s house. When they got to Òrúnmìlà, they asked for the eyes but Òrúnmìlà pretended as if he had no idea of what they were talking about. Olofin Otajatoju and his wife became helpless, he started crying, he remembered what IFÁ warned him about, he remembered how IFÁ asked him to make ẹbọ in order not lose his eyes, he remembered how IFÁ warned him to do away with nosy habit, all of these made him became restless. As they were about leaving Òrúnmìlà’ s place, Ọ̀rúnmìlà told Olofin Otajatoju that he could help him regain his sight, but he would charge him huge amount of money, and Olofin agreed to pay.
Olofin Otajatoju paid Òrúnmìlà heavy sum of money to fix his eyes for him, and that was how his eyes were restored, and Òrúnmìlà too attracted Riches through the situation.

From the above insight, it’s obvious that Olofin Otajatoju wasn’t in alignment with ORÍ. His ORÍ gave him 3 instructions, he adhered to just one and neglected the rest. That wasn’t a wise decision.

To be in alignment with ORÍ requires our totality, not one leg in one leg out!
Olofin Otajatoju learnt his lessons, and in the end everything worked out for his good.

REMAIN ALIGNED!
